Bow-Wow Stool
- Winner of 1st prize in international competition. The stool was design for 'Four Boxes Gallery' in Krabbesholm Højskole by Japanese architects Atelier Bow-Wow and manufactured by acclaimed danish furniture makers PP Møbler who also produce Hans J. Wegner furniture.
Each Stool is completely unique due to variations in wood color, grain, pattern and texture.
The design embraces these imperfections and tells the story of the wood as a living material with individual characteristics.
The stool is carved from one solid piece of oakwood to provide a rugged, joint-free, highly durable piece of furniture made to last for generations. No glue or chemicals are used in the making, only organic oils for surface treatment. The stool can thus be composted at the end of it's lifespan to complete a cradle to cradle cycle.
