Biography
Morten Emil Engel is a practicing architect, designer and researcher.
Born in Copenhagen he has gained extensive international experience living, working and traveling in Europe, Asia, Africa, the US and the Middle East.
The studio works often reflect these travels and emerge inspired by conditions, dialectics and narratives of cultures and history, seen in contemporary context.
Morten holds a Masters degree in Architecture from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture
and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from University College London at the Bartlett School of Architecture.
During his studies and professional life he has received numerous awards and scholarships and his work has featured in multiple publications and exhibitions.
Since setting up his own studio in 2008 Morten continues to collaborate with other practices and organizations.
