Morten has started up a new research project with 3 fellow architect colleagues.
The objective is to develop new ways of using tiles within architectural projects.
An initial research webpage has been put up to show our inspiration.

The project is supported by The Danish Agency for Culture.

Crafts Collection CC15

The Bow-Wow stool has been selected by curator Nina Tolstrup as part of the annual Danish Crafts Collection, CC15.
The stool will be on display at Maison&Objet in Paris, one of the world’s leading lifestyle fairs for professional buyers and manufacturers.

Prototype

New furniture prototype is in the making.
It's being crafted in beech veneer at 'Statens Værksteder' and will be an easy-to-assembel flat-pack design.

The Slippery Spiral Situation

COBI wins 2nd Prize

The studio wins 2nd prize in international competition for a new bike-share design.
COBI is a new bike and bike-share system developed for sustainable public transportation.

Copenhagen Bike Share
18 November 2009

The studio, in collaboration with Kaspar Bark Grundahl, has just handed in a competition proposal for a new bike share system in Copenhagen. Winners will be announced in December during the COP15.

New Natural History Museum

Krabbesholm Lecture
03 October 2009

Morten will be presenting some of the latest projects by the studio today in a lecture at Krabbesholm Højskole.
It is also today that the new Four Boxes Gallery will be inaugurated and the Bow-Wow Stools presented in their intended surroundings.







Damascus
07 September 2009

Morten will be making a research trip to Damascus, Syria.
The purpose of the trip is to carry out research in architectural principles to naturally control temperature in hot dry climates.
The research will focus on principles of natural ventilation, microclimates and architectural features to aid cooling, provide temperate zones and shade.

Bow-Wow Stool production

They are all completely unique due to variations in colour, grain, pattern and texture.

New natural history museum

MEE in collaboration with JA-JA Architects has just handed in a proposal for the idea competition for a new natural history museum in Copenhagen's botanical garden. Pictures will be uploaded in October when results get in. . .

The model is built from pear wood, ash wood, ply, acrylic, copper wire and lazer-cut card.

Bow-Wow Stool Competition Winner
07 July 2009

Morten has won the international competition to design a stool for a new exhibition building in Krabbesholm Højskole by Japanese architects Atelier Bow-Wow.
The stool is being manufactured by acclaimed furniture makers PP Møbler using 5 axis professional CNC machines.
